MPOM- Medical Professionals On a Mission Inc. is calling on all the healthcare professionals with interest in working or volunteering in the Caribbean to join our medical database. We are a fully self-sufficient disaster relief group collaborating with local, regional and international humanitarian organizations to provide medical relief post disaster in the Caribbean.

Medical Professionals On a Mission is a nonprofit health organization dedicated to coordinating the Caribbean medical diaspora to work in partnership with island nations in response to post-disaster healthcare needs. We don’t replace local systems, we reinforce them. Through emergency medical missions, skilled volunteer deployment, medical supply donations, and professional training, MPOM ensures that communities receive care with dignity, empathy, and respect when they need it most.

We deploy fully self-sufficient medical teams to stabilize healthcare delivery following hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
Licensed Caribbean clinicians from the diaspora provide frontline care while reinforcing overwhelmed local healthcare staff.
We help prevent system collapse by supplying essential medical resources to hospitals and clinics during recovery phases.
We strengthen local capacity by offering certification classes and professional development for nurses and doctors.

Thanks to Medical Professionals on a Mission
Medical Professionals on a Mission Inc with the help of Oncologist Dr. Gregory Vidal shipped ten extra-large boxes of supplies to the Dominica Cancer Society. The contents of those boxes were,
wound care, colostomy care and urinary supplies. In addition, to the patient care supplies the team also accepted donations in the form of diapers, gloves and assorted breast prosthesis.
Salybia Health Center
MPOM recently complete a refurbishment of the Salybia Health Center with a Grant from Direct Relief . They spent $32,000 in supplies and equipment. Among the donated supplies are exam tables with stools, a refrigerator, an autoclave, an EKG machine, a centrifuged, diagnostic equipment, and some much-needed things for this Clinic.
